🐾 Who We Are 

Since 2013, The Underdogs Rescue has been giving Oklahoma’s most overlooked pets a second chance.

We are a foster-based, volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals who might otherwise be forgotten—senior dogs, those with medical or behavioral needs, or those passed over due to breed stigma. These are our underdogs.

Each animal enters a loving foster home where they heal, grow, and learn what it means to be part of a family. When they are ready, we match them with compassionate adopters committed to giving them the forever home they deserve.

But we do more than rehome pets—we advocate for them. We educate. We work to prevent suffering before it begins. Through community outreach and public education, we promote responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering, as the most powerful tool to fight overpopulation.

We rely entirely on donations, not government funding. Every dollar goes toward saving lives, funding vet care, and providing food, safety, and healing.
